JanFam: The Movement is a non-profit artist-to-fan engagement program honoring Janet Jackson through music, creativity, and dance education.
Rodney (Junior) grew up inspired by Janet’s artistry, innovation, and passion for dance. With not being able to afford dance classes as a child, he didn’t want others to give up due to financial hardships. He crafted this amazing experience for all ages to receive a low-cost arts education. His creativity, drive, and professionalism makes him a force to be reckoned with. Through hard work, sacrifice, and love, Rodney has helped many people live out their dreams.
Mission: To create meaningful connections by offering talent exposure and affordable arts-related events.
Vision: Enriching creativity and culture through education.
Values: We treat each other with respect and kindness, accepting differences while nurturing personal growth.

In Loving Memory of Michael Whetstine
On January 17, 2018, the JanFam community gained a new angel. Michael Whetstine was a well-known fan and supporter of Janet Jackson. Throughout his life, he connected with so many of Janet’s fans with his insight, love, and admiration.
Michael was the first person to take interest in our program and opened up his heart to us. He shared a touching story on how Janet had saved his life. Michael will forever be on our minds and in our hearts. Visit his memorial page here. #janfamforever
