Ed Moore

 
 

Ed Moore started his dance/choreography career over two decades ago with the multi-platinum selling artist M.C. Hammer. After moving to L.A. in the mid 90’s he began dancing and creating choreography for a multitude of artists, while being mentored by the elite of the choreography world— Fatima Robinson, Laurie Ann Gibson, Lavelle Smith and Barry Lather. He fine-tuned his art form, becoming an award recognized and respected Dancer/Choreographer.

After a few years in L.A., he booked his first big job with R&B sensation, Aaliyah as a dancer and choreographer. During this time he was also featured in numerous well-known music videos for artists like Dr. Dre and Monica, as well as choreographing music videos for Busta Rhymes, Backstreet Boys, Snoop Dogg, Will Smith, Master P, The Temptations and many others. Ed has toured and worked with some of the top music artists in the industry including: Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti, Mary J. Bilge, Omarion, Backstreet Boys, Faith Evans, Eve, Left Eye, Raphael Saadiq, Macy Gray, Cody Simpson, Ne-Yo and Brandy.

He most recently created memorable choreography for Janet Jackson and Usher. Additionally, he was featured in the movie Honey and created choreography for Step Up 3D. He was the featured choreographer for MTV’s Making the Band: O-Town and appeared in several commercials throughout his career. Ed has also worked closely with several dance companies such as Debbie Allen Dance Company and Lavern Reed Dance Company.
